It may be a bit snowy now. But, before all that snowfall hit the Front Range, we had lots of opportunities to shoot some precious Denver fall mini sessions. We had so much fun, and have so many pictures we could feature. But for now, I wanted to share a few of this sweet family in all their cowboy boot glory.
Denver Fall Mini Sessions Style
I always love to get a good mix of candid and posed shots. Sometimes, my favorites photos happen when we’re trying to get a pose set up. Obviously, little ones having a mind of their own which can result in some amazing candid shots. Those may not be the pictures you choose to print and put above the fireplace. But they sure capture real-life more accurately!
For fall mini sessions, I often offer one or two locations and shoot a handful of mini sessions back to back. This is a perfect arrangement for everyone because the cost is lower for clients. Also, the sessions are shorter which is ideal for those with short attention spans. And, I am able to capture a ton of great photos all at once. It’s a win-win. Plus, the main thing most of my clients are looking for with fall mini sessions are those perfect images to use for Christmas or holiday cards.
Cozy Clothes Make for the Cutest Looks
Some people try to steer clear of fall mini sessions because they don’t want to be all bundled up for their photos. It certainly is a matter of preference. But personally, I think pictures where kiddos are wearing stocking caps, with pink cheeks and bright eyes, are some of the sweetest. And if you need ideas for how to dress for a fall photoshoot, Pinterest is always a great go-to! And, if you’re at a loss, I’m happy to give you some pointers before your shoot too!
