As a Denver lifestyle photographer, I have the privilege of preserving families at a moment in time. And, as a mom of four, I certainly have an appreciation for remembering my kiddos in different stages since they insist on continuing to grow! I always try to get photos of each parent interacting with each child, just to preserve these special relationships. Sometimes these photos are posed. Sometimes they’re more organic. But they’re always sweet!

This little cutie was all smiles. And we love how the Woolseys wrapped her up in this blanket, not just to keep her warm, but because it made these snuggly shots even more endearing. Plus, it fit well with their color scheme since brother was wearing a blue pullover too.

The golden hour was perfect for this Denver family photoshoot. I caught that sun flare in all the right places, adding to the romantic feel for shots with mom and dad, and providing ideal lighting for all the images. It was a joy to take photos of the Woolsey family, and this shoot is just further proof that there is no “right” time of year to take family portraits. You can take incredible photos at any time of year!
